Benchmarking out of the Fashion and Beauty Branches

Every year, Black Friday and the subsequent Cyber Weekend post record breaking revenues for online businesses.  An Infographic has been released by Arvato SCM Solutions reflecting combined benchmarked results from more than 50 German online shops within the Fashion and Beauty branches.

It appears that even in Germany, Black Friday has become a standard for many manufacturers and retailers. The percent of online shops taking part in Black Friday activities has risen over last year, and the length of discount campaigns are increasing. Of particular note is how discounts are now being differentiated (e.g. extra rebates for App purchases).
