Almost 2 years ago, Timofei Paigachev, 31, then a project manager at Arvato Supply Chain Solutions in Russia, and his wife Anastasiia, 23, moved to the US. A lot has happened since then.
When Timofei gets the opportunity to move to Louisville, USA, for a project management position, he doesn't hesitate for long, and his wife Anastasiia quickly considers following him. Anastasiia has a bachelor's degree from Yaroslavl State Technical University, Russia, in mechanical engineering and is confident she will soon find a job.
Dealing with the English language on a daily basis is a challenge for her at first, which is why finding a job in the U.S. is difficult for the first few months. After various temporary jobs, she is pleased to find a position at Arvato Supply Chain Solutions as a Technical Operator in the fall of 2020, giving her the chance to work in the same company as her husband.

What they both like and appreciate about Arvato Supply Chain Solutions is the international nature of the company, which gave them the opportunity to emigrate, and the corporate culture.
Timofei took part in the first round of the Udacity nanodegree and is taking advantage of the offer to further his education.
As he successfully completes the course, his wife frequently watches the English videos with him and decides to apply for a place the following year as well.
After successfully completing the Challenge Course, she is one of the 1,600 lucky ones to receive a follow-up place for the Nanodegree.
She enjoys the Data Track and the English videos are one of the reasons her English skills are improving.
For Anastasiia, the training has also paid off professionally - she was recently promoted to Business Manager. She is now about to graduate from the Udacity program. Good luck on the last few meters, Anastasiia!
Due to the pandemic, Anastasiia and Timofei have not been back to Russia in almost 2 years and hope to visit home this summer. In the meantime, the two are enjoying life in the U.S. and raving about the trips they were able to take before the Corona pandemic. Among other things, they were able to visit the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. Of course, that's by no means all: if they have their way, the next part of their exciting journey has just begun.
