HARMAN's lifestyle division experienced exponential sales growth, necessitating a reevaluation of their logistics. Rising volumes and evolving customer needs demanded a comprehensive supply chain transformation. HARMAN sought a data-driven, process-efficient warehousing solution that could accommodate their rapid expansion.

Our solution for success

We started with an in-depth analysis, utilizing complex process simulations to create the perfect business case. We expanded our storage capacities at our site in Gennep, the Netherlands and implemented tailor-made storage solutions—all without disrupting ongoing operations, completed in just four months. In Gennep we store the products for HARMAN’s European B2B business for retailers and for the B2C online orders from end customers.

This fulfillment solution empowers HARMAN to pursue ambitious growth objectives. Its remarkable scalability facilitates entry into new markets. Operational processes are now transparently managed, enabling flexible handling of order peaks. Regular assessments of engineering processes empower HARMAN to proactively invest in cutting-edge automation technology.
 

Expanding our global reach

Building on our successful collaboration, we extended our support to HARMAN's B2B business for connected car technology components, based at our warehouse in Singapore. We resolved international shipping complexities, low stock turnover, and capacity fluctuations, providing clear visibility into component availability and robust track and trace capabilities.

In 2023, we further solidified our partnership by extending support to HARMAN's distribution of lifestyle audio products throughout the Americas. This included managing their B2B volumes across North, Central, and South America and overseeing their domestic B2C efforts in the US market. To meet HARMAN's needs, we inaugurated a cutting-edge distribution center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Today, we operate HARMAN’s global B2B, B2C and D2C operations from 4 warehouses on 3 continents. Our services on a global scale encompass warehousing and distribution, value added services, transport management, returns management, refurbishment and technical sorting.
